About our Chapter
To foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences. Membership in NCL, Inc. gives mothers and daughters unique opportunities to strengthen bonds while growing together, sharing of themselves and improving their communities.
NCL, Inc. Monarch members are mothers and daughters in grades 7 – 12 who are committed to the mission and vision of NCL, Inc. Our unique focus is built on the mother-daughter relationship of working together as volunteers to support the community, Over our six year program, each class of approximately 25 Ticktockers and their mother’s (Patronesses) experience opportunities that build leadership skills and develop cultural awareness.
Both Ticktockers and Patronesses are required to commit to a specific number of volunteer hours in the community as well as service hours in support of our chapter. Participation in a certain percentage of meetings, activities and events are also designated by our Chapter governing documents.
